IMPORTANT NOTE

The following is for the basic "full" setup. Some items may change (ie: we may not use percussion on every job). Once you have printed this list, please check with Paul Vesco for final adjustments.

Input List

FRANK STALLONE:

Vocal mike (wireless if possible) / straight stand (EV457 or Shure Beta 58 head)
Male front wired (EV457 or better requested) / straight stand as backup for wireless.
Guitar amp.
Stool.
Mike on boom stand.
Guitar stand capable of holding a "big box" guitar (Gibson L5).

DRUMS:

Kick (drum mikes listed in order of importance)
Snare
High Hats

BASS area:

Bass amp has low-Z send (Hartke head)

GUITAR area:

Guitar microphone required (direct box NOT suitable).

KEYBOARD area:

Grand Piano miked. (Or Kurzweil MX88 or 2500)

Keyboard II into a direct box (This is conductor's keyboard.)

PERCUSSION area:

3 mikes on boom stands will be positioned after percussion setup

HORN area:

5 sax mikes (boom stands)
4 trombone mikes (straight stands)
4 trumpet mikes (straight stands)
Vocal mike on boom stand for tenor sax player

SPECIAL:

Headphone send is a spare send from monitor board. Should terminate between the drums and bass amp so we can plug a 1/4" phone OR RCA phono plug into our headphone amp. Primary feed of this send is the MDR RIGHT, but will ask for cues on other items as needed. Per the note at the top of list, we will sometime supply our own headphone mixer/amp requiring nothing from production sound.

FRANK STALLONE:

Guitar amp.
Stool.
Guitar stand capable of holding a "big box" guitar (Gibson L5 or acoustic).

DRUMS: Yamaha preferred

Yamaha Maple Custom 4 Piece
22" Bass drum with a ported front bass drum head.
10" rack tom (8" depth if possible)
14" Floor tom
14" snare drum (5" depth or whatever is available but NOT A PICCOLO!)
High Hat stand
4 cymbal Stands
Stool - a short one!

Drummer will bring a pedal and cymbals.
NOTE: If a Maple Custom is not available, any Yamaha will do. If Yamaha is not available.. then I would prefer Pearl (Masters Series or Prestige Session Series). There are lots of great drums out there, but the sizes are my biggest concern!
Rug for under set.

BASS area:

Bass amp. Hartke preferred.

GUITAR area:

Guitar Amp. Fender Twin or Mesa Boogie or Roland Chorus.

KEYBOARD area:

Grand Piano miked. (If electronic then must be digital piano: Kurzweil PC88, MX88 or 2500)
Keyboard Amp
If electronic keys, then we need a keyboard stand.
Piano stool or drum throne.

CONDUCTOR area:

Synthesizer. Alesis 7.1 or 8.1 preferred, all others must be cleared with Paul Vesco
Keyboard Amp

Music Stands:

Ten (10) Manhasset or comparable metal "deck" stands (NOT wire frame stands)
